ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I live on a small farm in Salem, Oregon with my wife, Laura. We have two adult sons. We have a boarding stables where we board 23 horses. We run about twenty head of roping steers and heifers. I have ridden horses all of my life. I showed horses on the Quarter Horse and Paint Horse circuit and have trained horses professionally.
My current horse hobby is team roping with my wife. Other hobbies include working on old cars. I have rebuilt a 1953 Chevy truck, a 1978 Camaro, and a 1952 Farmall tractor. My current project is a ground up restoration of a 1969 Chevelle. I also enjoy snow skiing and playing the guitar.
I went to Roseburg Senior High School, Umpqua Community College, and Southern Orgon State College. I retired in 2019 after 29 years as an Oregon State Senior Trooper and have recently gone back to work as a deputy for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
History has always been an interest of mine. I enjoy reading history books and watching historical documentaries. Writing The Secret of Etemenanki started as a hobby. The book grew, as did the characters. The book took me twelve years to complete. If it were not for Tim Rogers, it would still be on my computer as a word document. I enjoyed creating my story, I hope you enjoy reading it.
